As a former New Yorker, I can confirm, this is an authentic New York Style Pizzeria with a gourmet twist. They have moved from downtown Joshua Tree to a little strip mall esque location near the Home Depot in Yucca Valley but I will drive here every week for a slice and cry when I forget they aren’t open mid week. They almost always have cheese or pepperoni by the slice (amazing for us solo kids) and every time I fold my perfectly greasy slice up, I smile. Literal perfection.
They sell salads, sodas, garlic knots, garlic cheese bread, honey cinnamon knots, or order off the secret locals menu and get their meatballs (my fav!) I’ll be so mad if they are out, but it’s a disservice not to tell you. :) Their new location is not as dine in friendly (a little sad tbh) but they are still THE BEST pizza in town.
Call ahead, order out, your hardest choice will be deciding which delectable pie to choose from: The Barry White, Ziggy Stardust, Go Green or my personal favorite: The Caprese Pie because anything drizzled in a Balsamic Reduction is a yes in my book.
You can also create your own pizzas as well as vegan pies and vegetarian pies.
